Konstantinos Tsimaras is a Board Member at the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy and a Professor of Constitutional Law at the Law School of the European University of Cyprus and Vice – President of Medreg. He has worked as a lecturer at the Democritus University of Thrace and at the Ionian University and as a scientific associate-expert at the Council of Europe and the European Commission. He was a consultant at the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Tourism. He also taught at the National School of Public Administration. He is a graduate of the Department of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds one master’s degree in political science and one master’s degree in Public Law from the Université de Paris 1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and a PhD in Law from the same university. He completed his post-doctoral research at the Universities of Toledo and Lisbon. He is the author of five books, a lot of articles and international law reviews in French, English and Portuguese. He also participated as a senior expert in several research programs.
